A new petition is calling on the Queensland Government to halt plans to demolish the vacant Eventide units in Charters Towers.
Put forward by Traeger MP Robbie Katter, the petition urges the State to preserve the 54-unit facility on Hackett Terrace and use it to help ease the town’s worsening housing crisis.
