SkidFest 2025 roared into Charters Towers over the weekend, drawing car enthusiasts from across Queensland. Held at the Charters Towers Burnout Club, the event was a high-octane celebration of power, precision, and pure burnout energy.
It’s the trip of a lifetime — sailing the open seas aboard the tall ship Young Endeavour, guided by Royal Australian Navy officers and crew. Local student Lincoln Gough was selected as Council’s 2025 scholarship recipient, taking part in the 10-day voyage.
Preparations are in full swing ahead of the 46th annual Motor Show and Swap Meet, set to take place from the 6th to the 8th of June 2025.
